CAGRILINTIDE 10MG
SKU: CAGRI-10MG | Category: Research Compounds
Long-acting amylin analog | Calcitonin receptor agonist | ≥99% purity
Cagrilintide is a long-acting acylated analog of human amylin (islet amyloid polypeptide, IAPP), engineered for extended pharmacokinetic stability via fatty acid conjugation. Amylin is a 37-amino acid peptide co-secreted with insulin from pancreatic beta cells, acting primarily through calcitonin receptor (CTR) and amylin receptor complexes (AMY1-3) in the brainstem, hypothalamus, and area postrema.
Research applications include CTR and amylin receptor activation and binding kinetics studies, signal transduction analysis (cAMP, calcium mobilization), comparative pharmacology versus native IAPP and pramlintide, and investigation of amylin receptor system interactions with complementary metabolic peptide systems. Cagrilintide’s extended half-life profile in vitro makes it suitable for sustained-stimulation cell culture protocols.
