Copper peptide tripeptide-1 complex | Glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine:Cu(II) | ≥99% purity
GHK-Cu (glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine copper(II)) is a naturally occurring tripeptide-copper complex found in human plasma, urine, and saliva. It binds copper(II) ions with high affinity via a square planar coordination geometry involving the terminal amine, imidazole nitrogen of histidine, and deprotonated amide nitrogen. This copper chelation capacity underpins its use as a model compound in redox biology and metallopeptide research.
In vitro applications include studies of copper-mediated enzyme activation, collagen and elastin synthesis in dermal fibroblast cultures, superoxide dismutase (SOD) mimetic activity assays, and investigation of transcription factor regulation (including NF-κB, TGF-β). The 100mg vial format is suited for multi-experiment research workflows requiring consistent batch material.
Manufactured under GMP conditions in ISO 9001 certified facilities. Independently tested at ≥99% purity via ISO/IEC 17025 accredited HPLC analysis. Full batch COA available.
Storage: Store at -20°C, away from light. Hygroscopic — handle in low-humidity environment.
